Global Account Director

**Essential Job Functions** - A client-facing role that develops the business relationship - Account mapping, business unit breakdown (touchpoints to align regional/global team) - Run QBRs & ensure they are adequately prepared for - Ensure each Crane Worldwide office servicing the account understands the SOPs and executes accordingly - Report Monitoring, Analysis, and Distribution (responsible/accountable) - Conduct Performance management for reporting team - Regular Market Analysis and Industry Awareness to maintain knowledge - Drive collaborative efforts internally by supporting and sharing best practices in the following key areas: - Client Reviews - Strategic Business Plan - Value-add Programs - Process Improvements - Tender Management - Technology Solutions - Lead and review impact and coverage to identify service and opportunity gaps. - Direct account monitoring activities by the team to ensure timely payment and collection - Create and implement business development plans with short-term and long-term business objectives to be achieved globally. - Other duties as assigned **Skills & Competencies** - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Strong leadership skills - Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills - Thorough knowledge of transportation industry logistics and freight forwarding - Thorough knowledge of successful sales techniques - Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite - Detail-oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines - Self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently - Good analytical and program management skills; ability to define, develop and document business processes and procedures - Vital customer service, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills - Internal/external sales skills - Troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills **Qualifications** - Bachelor’s Degree - Minimum of 7 years of related experience in sales or account management or operations experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation - Minimum of 5 years of management experience - Experience with CRM systems **Minimum Requirements** - Must be eligible to work in the United States for any company in an ongoing capacity without company sponsorship - Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position California required disclosure: Salary range for this position is between USD 100,000 - 145,000 annually. **WHY SHOULD YOU WORK FOR CRANE?** At Crane, we believe in providing our employees with excellent benefits at a Great Place to Work.
