General Manager (Growth) Snapshot: $160K–$200K base · uncapped variable (1–5% of account revenue; $100K–$250K+ for top performers) + equity · Nashville (preferred) or Boston · On-site (5 days) · No visa sponsorship · 2–5 yrs client-facing/commercial THE OPPORTUNITY Our client is an AI-powered expert marketplace (~14 people, founded 2024, $7M raised) connecting subject-matter experts with organizations doing research — serving consulting firms, market-research firms, and investors. This is a high-autonomy GM role: own and grow key accounts, driving demand, executing expert-research projects, and scaling revenue, reporting directly to the founder with the chance to build a team. WHAT YOU'LL DO Execute expert-research projects end-to-end (sourcing/vetting experts and delivering results). Generate demand through relationship-building, lunch-and-learns, referrals, and expansion. Manage executive-level client relationships and pitch the AI-interviewer product. Operate with extreme ownership, managing 5–10 concurrent projects. Build and coach junior project leads while maintaining quality. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE First 90 days: take ownership of accounts, deliver strong project outcomes, and generate demand. First year: grow your accounts materially and begin building a team. MUST-HAVES 2–5 years in client-facing roles with commercial/revenue responsibility (account management, sales, or consulting); resilient, entrepreneurial, and energized by working with people; strong execution. NICE-TO-HAVES Expert-network, consulting, or market-research experience; early-stage / team-building experience. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS $160K–$200K base (USD), uncapped variable (1–5% of account revenue; realistically $100K–$250K+ for top performers), competitive equity.
