Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.** **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Mowing, trimming, trash removal and brush removal on Code lots, City lots and city Cemeteries. - Operating digit camera to take pictures after cutting the property - Complete daily paperwork - Perform other duties and assume other responsibilities as apparent or assigned. **KNOWLEDGE/ABILITY** - Ability to work independently and to complete daily activities according to work schedule. - Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for extended periods of time, and to perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. - Ability to communicate orally and in writing. - Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely. - Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions. - Ability to establish effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, and public. - Must have knowledge of the park department maintenance and safety procedures. **EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS:** - High School Diploma or equivalent education required. **CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS** **Must have valid Driver's License** **EQUIPMENT** **Riding mower, push mower, weed trimmer, blower, truck, trailer, digital camera, iPhone, table, portable radio** **PHYSICAL DEMANDS:** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
