This role is entry-level and often requires no prior specialized training, but physical fitness and the ability to follow instructions are essential ## Key Responsibilities - Perform **general physical labor** such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials - **Load and unload** trucks, trailers, and equipment as needed - Assist **skilled tradespeople** (e.g., carpenters, plumbers, electricians) with setup, cleanup, and material handling - **Prepare and clean** job sites, removing debris and hazards - Operate **hand tools and power tools** (drills, saws, grinders, jackhammers) safely - Help assemble or dismantle temporary structures like scaffolding, ramps, or storage - Follow **safety protocols** and report unsafe conditions to supervisors. - Perform **site cleanup** and maintain a safe, organized work environment ## Qualifications & Skills - High school diploma or equivalent preferred - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform strenuous physical tasks - Willingness to work in all weather conditions - Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team - Valid driver’s license (for day laborers who may need to transport materials) - Basic knowledge of safety practices and OSHA standards ## Work Environment - Often outdoors, in varying weather conditions - May involve noise, dust, and physical exertion - Flexible scheduling, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays #Jazz2
