General Dermatology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Optima Dermatology is hiring an experienced NP or PA to join our growing Nashua, NH practice. We’ve recently opened a new location to expand access in the area, and with rising patient demand, we are preparing to add another provider to join our talented team. You’ll be supported by exceptional practice managers, clinical support staff, and back-office teams. This position is supervised by a full-time, board-certified dermatologist. Position Details: Opportunity to work with a growing team that is passionate about providing exceptional dermatology care to our patients Full-time position Competitive salary and bonus structure PTO and reimbursement for CME expenses Competitive benefits Robust MA and clinical support staffing to help maximize productivity Facility features the latest equipment and technologies Responsibilities: Build and retain relationships with patients by treating every patient the way you’d want your friends and family to be treated Provide outstanding dermatology care to patients with a wide variety of skin care needs (including general, medical, cosmetic, and pediatric) Determine appropriate course of treatment through listening to patient concerns and conducting physical examinations and biopsies Educate patients about their skin conditions, treatments, medications, and best practices for skin cancer prevention Develop expert knowledge of skin ailments, treatments, and products through shadowing providers, attending trainings, and seeking learning opportunities Frequently consult with physicians on appropriate treatments and protocols Refer patients to Mohs surgeon or other providers as needed Prescribe medications as necessary Record medical information and data in practice’s medical records system Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment Fill in for other providers or float to other locations when needed Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dermatology PA or NP Active New Hampshire NP or PA license, from an accredited program Strong listening and communication skills, with an excellent bedside manner Organized and efficient in a busy clinical environment A team-oriented approach and genuine passion for patient care About Optima At Optima Dermatology, our mission to revolutionize skin care starts by partnering with outstanding, industry-leading dermatologists.
