Key Responsibilities - **Emergency Response:** Quickly respond to water damage emergencies, including floods, leaks, and other water-related disasters. - **Restoration Procedures:** Execute water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and sanitization and fire and soot clean up using state-of-the-art equipment and methods. - **Material Removal:** Safely remove and/or clean damaged materials like carpeting, drywall, flooring, structure and contents to facilitate restoration. - **Compliance:** Adhere to industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies at all times. Qualifications - **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in water damage restoration preferred. - **Experience:** Demonstrated experience in fire and water damage restoration or similar industry experience. - **Technical Skills:** Proficiency with industry-standard equipment and hand and power tools. - **Problem-Solving:** Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform effectively in high-pressure situations. - **Communication:** Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - **Physical Capability:** Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces as needed. - **Licensing:** Valid driver's license, clean driving record and reliable transportation. - **Flexibility:** Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. **Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours and Travel Requirements:** **This is a full-time position with standard hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday**, totaling 40 hours per week, **along with on-call responsibilities**. During periods of high demand, extended hours and additional workdays may be necessary to meet customer needs. This role often requires working more than 8 hours a day, including some evenings and weekends. Travel is primarily local, though occasional out-of-area and overnight travel may be required.
