Replies within 24 hours JOB SUMMARY: Performs administrative and technical work to support the flow of business as the head of the permitting department; processes applications for building, signage, electrical, and other related permits; schedules and records building inspections; interacts with head contractor, project managers, and creative team on related permitting and building issues. Processes applications ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Processes permits - receives permit and project applications and verifies all information necessary for plan review; submit applications to corresponding counties and cities, routes to team members for review and correction; organize permit numbers and department comments; prepares inspection files, cards, and fee receipts for clients. - Assists customers with permitting questions and concerns in a friendly, courteous, professional manner using clear oral and written business communications. - Schedules building inspections; prepares documentation required for inspections and organizes production/installation team to meet onsite. - Assists with administrative tasks in the office, such as answering phones, serving customers, correspondence and reports, scanning, filing and records organization. - Maintains a current/updated listing of license registration with each county and city that permits are processed in Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour At FASTSIGNS, every day is unique and presents exciting opportunities, including new ways to use your talent and grow your skills.
