What You’ll Do - **Lead by example:** Launch new cases, introduce permanent caregivers to families, and model best-practice care techniques - **Provide hands-on care:** Assist clients with personal hygiene, mobility, light exercise, meals, housekeeping, errands, and medication reminders - **Ensure quality & safety:** Conduct home-safety assessments, perform quality-assurance visits, direct collaboration with Director of Nursing. - **Support our caregivers:** skills refreshers, and competency checks to elevate team performance. - **Serve on the on-call rotation:** Help cover caregiver call-outs, fill urgent shifts, and address client concerns after hours. - **Problem-solve in real time:** Respond to changes in client condition, escalate issues appropriately, and keep families informed. What You’ll Bring - 5+ year of professional caregiving experience (CHHA required) - First Aid & CPR certification - Strong communication skills with clients, families, and team members - Proven ability to coach and mentor peers - Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and ability to lift/transfer clients as needed - Comfort with mobile apps/Wellsky for documenting care - Compassionate, ethical, and calm under pressure—a true professional in every scenario Compensation: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour ## NOW SEEKING CAREGIVER APPLICANTS Home Helpers Home Care, is seeking a caring, compassionate Caregiver to provide service for a client in your local area.
