You will lead jobs, crews, and projects alongside other HVAC installers and superintendents - primarily new residential, commercial, and multi-family construction. We are looking for a team player who is ready to learn, loves the feeling of a job well done and takes pride in completing customer jobs with efficiency. A positive attitude is a must! **Responsibilities:** - Install, modify, inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment according to specification and building codes - Identify hazards and safety problems applicable to the installation and operations of HVAC projects - Take necessary corrective action to fix these problems - Make decisions on the job site without interruption to the business or work and job quality - Manage multiple projects simultaneously - Build and maintain project schedules and meet deadlines - Read blueprints - Complete quality control sheets **Qualifications:** - Leadership skills and the ability to empower individuals on your team - Ability to produce quality work - Excellent communication skills to be used when working with builders, general contractors, and project managers - Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures including ventilation, air conditioning, heating, and environmental control systems. - Ability to follow directions - High school diploma or equivalent - Valid driver's license - Strong work ethic that you display daily - Ability to read blueprints - Ability to work 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Thursday and an occasional Friday - Relevant HVAC experience is a plus Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour # About Us **We’ve provided superior quality heating, ventilation, & air conditioning (HVAC) services in the Northwest Arkansas & Gainesville, TX areas for over 15 years now.** Absolute Heat & Air has been providing superior quality heating, ventilation, & air conditioning (HVAC) services for over 15 years now.
