NOTE: This is NOT a seasonal position** Mad Science of Hampton Roads has been delivering educational and entertaining science programs for elementary-aged children since 2008. We are looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable team player that would like to join our team in the role of Equipment Manager. You will be working in a fast-paced environment. Your main work location will be our office in Chesapeake, but some driving to other locations is required. **Responsibilities** - Ensures kits/equipment are in good condition for all programs - Oversees and conducts equipment check-in and check-out procedures - Ensure all chemical products are properly labeled and stored - Serves as a substitute instructor when needed **Qualifications** - Completes background check - Self-motivated - Detail-oriented and organized - Reliable team player - Works well in a fast-paced environment - Car and valid driver's license - Minimum of 20 years old and 2 years of college, OR equivalent experience in a similar position **Hours** - Flexible schedule within company's standard working hours (Mon-Fri, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm) - Typically 20-25 hours/week in summer; 12-18 hours/week during the school year - Typical schedule would be a minimum of 3 days/week, maximum of 5 days Mon-Fri - Each shift of 4-6 hours, such as 8:30 am - 12:30 pm, or 10 am - 4 pm Compensation: $15.00 per hour Mad Science is a powerhouse brand with locations around the globe!
