Fullstack Software Engineer

### About the Role A fast-growing fintech startup is looking for a highly driven **Fullstack Software Engineer** to join a small, ambitious team building modern banking infrastructure for global businesses and AI-powered financial operations. You'll have real ownership — taking products from idea to launch and beyond — and work on problems that genuinely matter in a tightly regulated, high-stakes industry. This is a fully remote role open to candidates in US time zones. ### What You'll Do - Build end-to-end full-stack web features — front-end and back-end — from zero to one and into production. - Integrate third-party APIs and design robust, reliable state machines. - Own projects from ideation through launch and ongoing iteration. - Hold yourself and your teammates accountable to high standards of quality and execution. ### What We're Looking For **Must-haves:** - Proficiency with **TypeScript, React, Python (FastAPI), PostgreSQL, and AWS** — these are dealbreakers. - Strong background building web applications. - Experience delivering software in **fintech or regulated industries**. - 2–9 years of professional full-stack software development experience. - Solid computer science fundamentals. **Nice-to-haves:** - Side projects — you've built something out of ambition, curiosity, or just because you wanted to. - Educational background from a reputable CS or engineering program. - Experience at a fintech, crypto, or financial services company (e.g. payments, banking, treasury, cards). - Preference for candidates without extensive big-tech backgrounds (outside of Amazon). ### Compensation & Benefits - Competitive compensation package (details shared during the interview process). - Opportunity to join a profitable, high-growth fintech at an early stage. - High ownership and meaningful scope from day one. *Note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.* ### Location Fully remote — US time zones.
