## Description **Teller I** Reports To: Teller Supervisor or Assistant Branch Manager As a Teller I, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and performing a range of financial transactions. This is an entry-level position where you will be learning essential teller duties while maintaining accuracy, a high level of professionalism, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Process customer deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments, and check cashing transactions accurately. - Verify and validate customer identification and check signatures to ensure compliance. - Assist customers with account inquiries and provide information on products and services. - Balance cash drawer throughout the day and at the end of each shift to ensure accuracy. Maintain precise transaction records and ensure compliance with company policies. - Follow security procedures to prevent fraud, report suspicious activity and ensure the safety of financial transactions. - Identify customer needs and refer them to appropriate departments or products. - Maintain confidentiality of customer information at all times. - Provide excellent customer service with a positive, friendly attitude. - Additional duties as assigned. **Qualifications:** Education: High School diploma or equivalent required Experience: Previous experience in a banking or customer service role is preferred **Skills:** - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Excellent customer service orientation and ability to build relationships. - Ability to multitask and manage time effectively - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Basic math skills and attention to detail
