Full Time - Team Leader - Clear Lake, IA

As a **Team Lead**, you will oversee a team of up to five Direct Support Professionals, ensuring high-quality support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role plays a key part in empowering individuals to live as independently as possible while meeting compliance and safety standards. ### **Key Responsibilities** - Supervise and support team members providing daily living assistance (housekeeping, hygiene, cooking, laundry, self-medication, etc.) - Assist individuals with financial management and budgeting - Ensure team compliance with all federal, state, and accreditation requirements - Maintain a safe, respectful, and empowering environment for staff and individuals - Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance feedback to your team - Participate in an on-call rotation and demonstrate flexibility within your team's schedule ### **Qualifications** - **Option 1:** High School Diploma or GED with 5 years of progressively responsible experience supporting individuals with disabilities - **Option 2:** BA/BS degree in a Human Services-related field with 2 years of relevant experience - Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred - Medication Manager Certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months) - Proficient computer and documentation skills - Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance - Must pass background check, drug screen, and physical assessment (including lifting up to 50 lbs) ### **Additional Requirements** - Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and using assistive equipment as needed - Mandt Certified or ability to become certified - **THIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE ROLE** **Make a difference every day-join a team that stands with and supports individuals to pursue their best lives.** Apply today and be part of the One Vision mission!
