Guaranteed rate of $25/h offered during service times. **Age Requirements:** Must be 21+ **Additional Requirements:** Must have open availability to work morning shifts. **Start Date:** On or around August 17th. **Role Summary:** This position is responsible for serving guests quickly, efficiently, and with a complete knowledge of food and beverage menus. **Responsibilities:** 1. Completes all opening, closing, and running side work. 2. Attends all pre-shift meetings. 3. Serves guests’ orders promptly and according to established standards, policies, and procedures. 4. Communicates and works closely with the kitchen staff to ensure customer satisfaction. 5. Maintains a complete and up-to-date knowledge of all menu items, wine lists, daily additions, and beverages offered (ingredients and preparation). 6. Follows safety and sanitation policies 7. Abides by all requirements pertaining to the sale of alcoholic beverages. 8. Understands applicable emergency procedure and evacuations. 9. Sets up tables according to Zorba and Che Figata standards of service. 10. Collects and reports tips at the end of the assigned shift. 11. Exemplifies a service and sales mentality at all times. 12. Understands and follows all cash handling rules and regulations. 13. Abides by all requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages. 14. High school Diploma or equivalent education. 2. Previous training in liquor, wine, and food service 3. BASSET or TIPPS certification preferred **Experience** 1. Two years or more of food service experience, preferably in a casual fine dining restaurant environment. 2. Micros experience preferred **Skills** 1. Excellent verbal and written skills 2. Neat and clean appearance 3. Ability to work in a team environment 4. Must have problem solving abilities, and the ability to compute basic arithmetic. 5. Must have a flexible schedule and be available to work nights weekends, and holidays. 6. Physical Requirements 7. Must be able to walk and stand for up to 8 hours a day, with or without reasonable accommodation 8. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill job duties 9.
