Full-Time Assistant Toddler Teacher

Employment Type: Full-Time Start Date: August 24 Discovery Kidzone is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This position supports the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom where toddlers can learn, explore, and grow through play-based experiences. We are looking for a caring, dependable individual who enjoys working with young children and is eager to learn. No previous childcare experience is required—we provide training and ongoing support to help you build a successful career in early childhood education. Responsibilities - Assist with the daily care and supervision of toddlers - Create a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment - Encourage learning through play, music, storytelling, art, and hands-on activities - Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development - Help children build confidence, independence, and positive peer relationships - Assist with daily routines, including meals, naps, toileting, and transitions - Observe children's progress and share updates with families - Collaborate with teachers and staff to support classroom goals - Maintain a clean, organized, and healthy learning environment - Follow all health, safety, and licensing requirements Qualifications - No previous experience required—paid training provided - Genuine interest in working with toddlers and supporting early childhood development - Strong communication and teamwork skills - Patient, dependable, and positive attitude - Ability to guide children with kindness and consistency - Familiarity with classroom safety and sanitation practices is a plus - CPR certification required within 30 days of hire - Ability to complete all required state licensing trainings Compensation & Benefits Compensation is based on education and experience.
