SimplifyNext is a Singapore-headquartered digital engineering firm, with offices in Thailand and Malaysia, working across three converged areas: agentic AI, AI-enabled application modernisation, and intelligent automation. We bring strong business process consulting together with deep technology skills and modern delivery practices – product-centric, agile and AI-assisted. We build bespoke applications and AI systems, and we go deep on the platforms our clients run on, including Microsoft, AWS, ServiceNow, Databricks and UiPath. That combination of engineering depth and platform depth is what our clients come to us for. We build and modernise the systems people depend on daily. Our 300+ practitioners are multi-disciplinary by design – business consultants, software engineers, architects, AI engineers and designers working on the same delivery, not handing off between silos. We focus on delivering outcomes for clients, building strong careers for our people, and staying ahead of the technology curve. We hire because we are growing. Role Purpose The Full Stack Software Developer designs, builds and ships production-grade applications for our clients – across the front end, the back end, and the cloud they run on. This role sits close to the work: you will translate business requirements into working software, own features end to end, and use our AI-assisted engineering workbench as part of everyday delivery, not as an experiment. What You'll Own 1. End-to-End Feature Delivery Design, develop and deploy full-stack applications using modern frameworks and cloud-native architectures. Take ownership of features or modules from requirement through to production release and post-deploy support. Translate business and technical requirements into robust, maintainable, scalable solutions. 2. Engineering Quality & Craft Apply best practices in code quality, automated testing, security and performance. Participate in code review, uphold architectural standards, and keep technical debt visible and managed. Produce clear technical and architectural documentation. 3. AI-Assisted Delivery Use SimplifyNext's AI workbench across the lifecycle – story refinement, code generation, test generation, review support and documentation. Work within our guardrails: human gates, drift checks, coverage contracts and CI-first verification. 4. Cloud, CI/CD & DevSecOps Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments and release automation. Embed security requirements from design – secure coding, access controls, vulnerability management. 5. Collaboration & Mentoring Work alongside architects, business analysts, designers and client stakeholders in one delivery team, not siloed handoffs. Review code and mentor junior developers; recommend improvements to tools, frameworks and approaches. What You'll Bring Must-Have 3+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack software development, delivering to production. Strong front-end experience with modern frameworks (e.g. React, TypeScript, modern JavaScript). Solid back-end development experience (e.g. Node.js, Java/Kotlin, Python, .NET). Experience designing and consuming APIs, and working with relational and/or NoSQL databases. Working knowledge of at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP). Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control and modern development workflows. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in cross-functional, client-facing teams. Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline. Good-to-Have Containerisation and orchestration experience (Docker, Kubernetes). Hands-on use of AI coding assistants or agentic development workflows in a professional setting. Experience delivering into the Singapore Public Sector or large regulated enterprises. Familiarity with observability and telemetry tooling. Interest in growing towards a technical lead or architect track. This role is not a fit if: You want to specialise narrowly on one layer of the st…
