As a member of the Amivero team you will use your empathy for a customer’s situation, your passion for service, your energy for solutioning, and your bias towards action to bring modernization to very important, mission-critical, and public service government IT systems. **Special Requirements** - US Citizenship required to obtain a Public Trust - Bachelor Degree - Must be local to the DMV area **The Gist…** The Full Stack Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining modern enterprise applications across both front-end and back-end technology stacks. The individual supports cloud-native application development, API integration, microservices architecture, DevSecOps practices, and user-focused software solutions within Agile delivery environments. ## What Your Day Might Include… - Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications supporting mission-critical business functions. - Develop responsive and accessible user interfaces utilizing modern front-end frameworks and technologies. - Build scalable back-end services, APIs, and microservices that support enterprise application requirements. - Integrate applications with databases, APIs, messaging systems, analytics platforms, and cloud services. - Develop automated tests and participate in quality assurance, code review, and continuous integration activities. - Collaborate with UI/UX Engineers, architects, Data Engineers, Cloud Engineers, and Business Analysts to deliver high-quality software solutions. - Support application modernization, performance optimization, security remediation, and technical debt reduction initiatives. - Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release activities. - Support deployment automation, observability, and operational support activities. - Ensure compliance with secure coding standards and enterprise security requirements. ## Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline. - Experience developing enterprise applications utilizing Java, Spring Framework, JavaScript, ReactJS, Node.js, Hibernate, Apache Tomcat, Jackson, JAXB, and RESTful APIs. - Experience designing and implementing microservices architectures, API integrations, and cloud-native applications. - Experience working with relational and non-relational databases including PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, Redis, Aurora, and OpenSearch. - Experience utilizing GitHub Enterprise, Maven, Gradle, Harness, SonarQube, Checkmarx, Nexus Repository, NexusIQ, and CI/CD pipelines. - Experience developing and deploying containerized applications utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Rancher, and AWS EKS. - Experience utilizing testing frameworks and tools including JUnit, Jest, REST Assured, Selenium, Playwright, SoapUI, TestCafe, JMeter, and Gatling. - Experience supporting AWS cloud environments utilizing EC2, Lambda, S3, Aurora, OpenSearch, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation. - Experience working within Agile and DevSecOps delivery environments. - Strong understanding of software architecture, secure coding practices, performance optimization, and application scalability.
