This role involves assisting with routine and emergency maintenance tasks, ensuring the hospital’s physical environment remains functional, safe, and in compliance with policies and regulations. Other duties may be assigned as needed. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education:  High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Skills:  Basic literacy and numeracy skills (ability to read and write).  Basic problem-solving and attention to detail. Licensure, Certification, or Registration:  None required. Experience:  Entry-level position; no prior experience required. Technical Training:  None required; on-the-job training provided. PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:  Ability to walk or stand for extended periods.  Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and crawling required for maintenance tasks.  Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and pushing/pulling up to 300 pounds for moving equipment or supplies.  Ability to follow routine written and verbal instructions. Receives authorization when time off is needed.
