In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining responsive, intuitive user interfaces and applications using React and related technologies. You will work within an AI-Accelerated Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), utilizing AI coding assistants to accelerate development and focus on high-level system architecture and complex UI problem-solving. Design, develop, and maintain responsive, intuitive front-end user interfaces and applications using React and related technologies. Actively contribute to and leverage our shareable Design System to build high-quality, reusable UI components, ensuring a unified and consistent user experience across the product portfolio. Collaborate with product management and UX designers to translate requirements and mockups into high-quality technical specifications and user experiences. Utilize AI coding assistants to accelerate development, focusing on complex UI components and offloading repetitive front-end tasks. Rigorously review, debug, and optimize AI-generated UI code for performance, accessibility, security, and adherence to established UI/UX standards. Apply prompt engineering techniques to maximize the efficacy of generative AI tools for writing comprehensive unit/end-to-end tests (e.g., Playwright) and drafting technical documentation for front-end systems. Contribute to UI architectural discussions and decisions to ensure scalability, security, and performance. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices. Implement and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end) to ensure code quality and reliability. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and production issues. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and advocate for their adoption where appropriate. Mentor less experienced developers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement YOUR EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Professional experience as a Software Developer with a strong emphasis on React. Solid understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., ReactJS, MobX). Experience with RESTful API consumption and integration. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. Unit testing and automation tools such as Playwright. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Essential AI-Era Skills (The "New Bar") AI Tool Fluency: Demonstrated ability to proficiently use AI-powered developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, CodeWhisperer) in a production environment.
