Forward-Deployed Product Manager - FDPM

You will act as a critical connector between client needs and technical teams, ensuring successful implementations and impactful product decisions. The position combines customer discovery, requirements management, communication, and roadmap influence in a fast-moving software environment. This is an opportunity to have direct influence on product evolution while helping organizations build flexible, modern operational workflows. ### Accountabilities: In this role, you will serve as the primary bridge between customers and internal product and engineering teams, ensuring alignment, clarity, and successful delivery. You will manage customer interactions, translate business requirements into actionable plans, and identify opportunities to improve products and processes. - Work directly with customers to understand business challenges, operational needs, and workflow requirements. - Translate customer feedback and business goals into clear, prioritized product requirements for engineering teams. - Own client communications throughout onboarding, discovery, scoping, and delivery phases. - Manage expectations, timelines, priorities, and feedback loops to ensure smooth collaboration. - Provide engineers with the context needed to deliver effective solutions aligned with customer needs. - Ensure consistency between customer requests, product decisions, development work, and delivered outcomes. - Identify recurring customer challenges and create repeatable frameworks, documentation, templates, and processes. - Improve internal workflows related to requirement gathering, handoffs, communication, and deployment processes. - Analyze customer insights to identify strategic product opportunities and contribute to roadmap planning. - Partner with product teams to prioritize impactful improvements that align customer needs with long-term product vision. ## Requirements: The ideal candidate combines strong product management experience with excellent communication skills and the ability to operate effectively between technical and business stakeholders. You should be comfortable managing ambiguity, understanding customer problems, and collaborating closely with engineering teams. - 5+ years of experience in product management, solutions, customer success, consulting, or similar customer-facing roles. - 2+ years of experience working within a software company, ideally in SaaS, ERP, enterprise software, or composable software environments. - Proven ability to manage relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Strong experience translating business requirements into actionable product specifications. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts and create alignment. - Strong organizational skills and a structured approach to solving ambiguous problems. - Technical fluency sufficient to collaborate effectively with engineers and understand product development workflows. - Experience supporting customer onboarding, implementations, deployments, or solution delivery. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and balance competing stakeholder needs. - Willingness to travel approximately 15–20% as needed. - Experience with ERP platforms, internal tools, operational SaaS products, APIs, data workflows, developer platforms, or consulting environments is a plus. ## Benefits: - Competitive salary range of **$130,000 – $170,000 USD**, plus bonus opp…
