Forklift Technician

Fraza & Vitan Equipment is seeking a skilled Forklift Technician to troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty material handling equipment. This is a fast-paced, field-based position where you'll use your diagnostic expertise across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to keep our customers' operations moving. ## **Why you’ll love it here:** - Pay $21/hr to $38/hr based on experience - Sign-on bonus - Hourly pay based on experience - Company vehicle provided (Take-home service truck) - No weekends & flexible daily field scheduling (first shift) - Full benefits package: PTO, medical, dental, vision, & retirement - Commission opportunities for service work and upselling parts/equipment **What you’ll do:** - Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems - Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize customer downtime - Hit the road to various customer sites—every day brings a different machine and a new challenge - Ensure all equipment is safe, compliant, and up to solid operating standards - Log your service work accurately and communicate clearly with the branch dispatch team **What you’ll need:** - 2+ years of hands-on experience repairing forklifts or heavy equipment (electric, propane, and diesel) - Strong diagnostic instincts and a safety-first mindset on the job - Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for the company truck **Get to know us:** Fraza and Vitan Equipment is a full-service material handling business with over 300 skilled employees across Michigan and the East Coast.
