FORKLIFT-SHIPPING - GWINN, MI.

##### Rayonier is seeking applicants to fill a Shipping Forklift position at the Gwinn Lumber Mill. The Shipping Forklift Operator will be responsible for operating shipping forklifts to control and manage mill output/finished product and load output product on to flatbed semi-trailer and rail cars. ##### The hourly rate of pay for this position is $‎25.39. ##### Schedule - ##### Typically, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday. - ##### Shifts rotate every two weeks from days to afternoons: - Nights – Monday – Thursday 2:00 P.M. – 10:30 P.M. - Friday 8:00 A.M. – 4:30 P.M. - Days – Monday – Thursday 7:00 A.M. – 3:30 P.M. - ##### Shift differential is $1.50 more per hour, for hours worked between 4:00pm - 7:00am. ##### Production & Quality - ##### Responsible for staging and positioning pallets in the yard to manage mill output and for shipping, loading trucks and rail cars. - ##### Ensures all loads are safely distributed, loaded, and secured properly. - ##### Ensure all tracking and shipping labels are attached properly and verified for correct shipping and loading. - ##### Monitors and facilitates proper maintenance and functionality of forklifts. ##### Safety & Environmental - ##### Operates all equipment in a safe manner and maintains a clean work area. - ##### Performs all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations. ### Requirements - ##### Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S. - ##### High School Diploma or GED required. - ##### A good attendance, work, and safety record. - ##### Basic understanding of computers and window-based programs. - ##### Good communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively in a team environment ##### We offer a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life and disability insurance, paid time off, and additional voluntary benefits. ##### Rayonier is an EEO/Veteran/Disabled Employer.
