The Forklift Operator is responsible for the transport, retrieval, and storage of pallets within the warehouse/facility. You will be accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and will be required to perform general warehouse duties. This role focuses on delivering a high level of service to our production rooms/distribution centre by delivering the materials and product on a timely manner and maintaining a safe and well-organized warehouse/facility. What you do (responsibilities): Practice safe work and identify unsafe situations to the appropriate individuals Operate forklift and material handling equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring to conduct a pre-driving inspection before use Transport materials in accordance with set standards Log issues with the forklift and report to supervisors Identify and report faulty or damaged racking immediately to supervisors, log issues with forklift and report to supervisors Perform water maintenance on forklift when required Load and unload trucks using forklifts or material handling equipment when required Deliver materials to the appropriate location Ensure all materials and skids have the correct labels and information Shipping duties, including building, and wrapping pallets, stocking raw materials Retrieve and deliver materials and moulds as required for production ensuring appropriate and accurate labelling of all items being stored Use a handheld scanner to transfer inventory efficiently, while maintaining a high level of accuracy Stock and replenish shelves, racks, cases, and bins in accordance with the FIFO method *Warehouse : general physical activities in the warehouse, including but not limited to: loading, unloading, sorting, and moving of products and materials *Production : general production duties including, but not limited to, producing high quality Lush products, fill/pour/press/pack/label product accurately, keeping up with production demands Assist Inventory Controllers with inventory counts and inventory organization Conduct daily inventory cou…
