We strive to be the best contractor with demonstrating a culture of Safety, Quality and Performance to deliver the best completed projects to our customers.** Summary: A Forklift Operator, is responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all products are handled with care and efficiency. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be crucial in this role. Essential Duties: - Operate a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise - Load and unload trucks, containers, and trailers - Inspect and perform maintenance checks on forklifts - Maintain a clean and safe work environment - Assist with other warehouse duties as needed - Safety – work safely around the hazards associated with the Construction field. - Tools – use hand, electric, pneumatic and hydraulic tools and in a safe manner. - Lift, carry and hold building materials and supplies. Qualifications: - Must possess a valid driver’s license - Must possess a forklift operator certification - At least 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment - Must be able to successfully complete all required pre-hire requirements. Physical/Site Requirements: - Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 45 pounds. - Move in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven areas. Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with age. - Work up to a 12-hour shift in varying temperature extremes and other outside conditions. - Climb and maintain balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds. - Work at heights with fall protection, work from manlifts, baskets, JLG’s etc. - PPE footwear/prescription safety glasses or eye shields required. To be eligible for per diem, your permanent residence must be at least 60-miles from the site address and you must provide documentation as such.
