Their primary role is to ensure planning, laying out, installing, and wiring electrical components are completed, as per project drawings, specifications and in accordance with applicable electrical codes. **What you'll do** - Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery and personnel - Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors - Recruiting, hiring, training, managing and mentoring employees and contractors - Providing adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices and safety needs - Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery and equipment while providing training on safety gear, hardhats and procedures - Managing project budgets and quality standards for all sites - Resolving conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably - Regularly reporting project status to supervisors, site engineers and other officials **Qualifications** **Required Skills, Experience, and Education** - Journeyman or Master Electrical license - Customer-service skills to communicate with inspectors and administration to develop a positive working relationship - Decision-making skills for selecting personnel and subcontractors for specific tasks and jobs to meet deadlines and budgets - Initiative for generating their own business opportunities and being proactive in locating new clients - Leadership skills for effectively delegating tasks to lower-level managers, subcontractors and construction workers. - Speaking skills for providing clear orders, explaining complex information to clients and construction workers and discussing technical details with other building specialists - Technical skills for interpreting construction methods and technologies along with contracts and technical drawings. - Time-management skills to meet deadlines and ensure construction phases are completed on time so that the next phase can start - Writing skills for writing budgets, proposals and plans along with documenting work progress for clients and others involved - Proven experience as a Foreman for other construction sites - In-depth knowledge of OSHA guidelines **Preferred Skills and Abilities** - 6-10 years of electrical field leadership experience - 10+ years of electrical experience - Crews 10-20 - Projects up to $1,000,000 - Strong proficiency in software and tools (e.g., Accubid, McCormick, Bluebeam, Procore, Plangrid) and Microsoft Office Suite **Winning Behaviors and Competencies** - Real-time Communication is key to success: We will communicate real-time to our team members and clients. - Knowing our projects is key to success: Preplanning and continuous planning habits lead to success.
