IBC's focus is to be customer centric and strive to provide excellent customer experience. **Time Type:** Full time **This is an in-office position.** **Department:** 330 Foreign Operations **Job Summary:** The Foreign Exchange Wire Specialist I is responsible for providing the foreign exchange (FX) wire service to existing and prospective customers while delivering the “IBC Experience”. Duties must be carried out accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This includes assigned duties in accordance with office procedures. Superior customer service with a “We Do More” attitude is a must. They are not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required by all incumbents.* - Delivers the IBC Experience by providing prompt, efficient and friendly customer service. - Informed of the daily currency exchange market rates. - Provides exchange rates to customers requesting wires in foreign currency. - Negotiates exchange rates with customers/prospects. - Creates FX quotes and initiates wire process through the Wire Transfer application. - Provide verbal disclosures to customers to comply with regulatory requirements. - Assists Foreign Exchange Traders. - Other Duties as assigned. **SKILLS** - Strong sales skills. - Knowledge of major world currencies and their value in relation to the U.S. Dollar. - Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish. - Able to process transactions accurately and efficiently. - Proficient in computer skills and knowledgeable in Microsoft Office and its applications. - Bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish. - Basic math skills and ability to use calculator functions. - Analytical skills, with attention to detail. - Team player. **EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE** - High School Diploma or GED equivalent. - Prior sales or office work experience a plus.
