Foreclosure Attorney - Remote

We offer a fresh, fast-paced energy, with a startup vibe. **THE POSITION** Friedman Vartolo LLP is seeking an experienced Foreclosure & Loss Mitigation Attorney who is capable of handling appearance and related loss mitigation activities to join our growing team. We're looking for bright, enthusiastic individuals, who will bring a strong work ethic and eagerness to grow alongside the firm. **RESPONSIBILITES** - Appear in Supreme, Surrogates and Federal Court to argue motions necessary for the successful completion of foreclosure, eviction, bankruptcy, and other related default services matters. - Communicate with clients and investors to effectuate loss mitigation resolutions, where applicable. - Work with and oversee support staff. - Draft assigned documents which include, but are not limited to, settlement and release agreements, payoff and reinstatement letters, status letters and other related loss mitigation correspondence. **REQUIRMENTS** - 2+ years of experience handling foreclosure matters in New York State - Applicants must be admitted in New York (EDNY and SDNY is a plus). **APPLICANT SKILLS** - Superior organizational skills - Ability to meet strict deadlines - Leadership qualities, ability to manage support staff - Eager to learn - Independent worker **LOCATION** Long Island (Garden City) **COMPENSATION** Compensation is competitive and will be commensurate with experience.
