## Description Cavender Nissan of Rockwall is currently seeking a BDC rep to join our service team! **Business Development Center Representative** The Business Development Center Representative is responsible for developing, processing, managing, following up and tracking all customers as it pertains to the sales department within a dealership. **Responsibilities:** - Take incoming calls and gather accurate customer information to create a database for continual follow-up and retention - Build and maintain knowledge of product information, current sales pricing, and dealership and manufacturer events and promotions - Manage internet leads and follow a dedicated process to turn leads into appointments - Utilize computer skills within our internet department to increase appointments, sales and customer retention. - Utilize phone skills to set solid appointments with daily customer call-ins, lists of sold and unsold floor traffic, previous customers, referrals, conquests, other generic leads and service and parts customers. - Other duties as assigned. **Requirements:** - Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency. - Excellent communication skills both written and oral - Active Listening – give full attention to the words and body language of others, take time to understand the points being made and ask questions as appropriate - Critical Thinking – using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. - Time Management – ability to prioritize workload and manage one’s own time - Typing – ability to type efficiently - Mathematics – using mathematics to solve problems. - Basic computer skills - Must be able to sit for extended periods of time. **Proficiency Standards:** - Integrity - Acts ethically, maintaining a commitment to honesty and truth in all facets of behavior that builds the trust of others - Work Ethic - Delivers accurate, timely and consistent results while understanding the need to balance short-term sacrifice for long-term gain - Team Player - Supports the overall efforts of the team to accomplish departmental and Company goals and objectives - Team Builder - Acts as a role model within the department in all facets of assigned job duties, while effectively providing feedback to team members and earning respect as a leader **Hiring Requirements:** - High school graduate or equivalent. - 18 years or older - Possess an acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license in state of residence - A criminal history background check will be conducted prior to beginning employment - Clear pre-employment drug screen *We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.* Job Type: Full-time Benefits: - 401(k) - 401(k) matching - Dental insurance - Employee discount - Health insurance - Life insurance - Paid time off - Referral program - Retirement plan Experience: - Customer service: 1 year (Preferred) - Call center: 1 year (Preferred) - Dealership: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
