Food Truck Attendant - Seasonal

POSITION PURPOSE: To provide food to the guests in an efficient, courteous and accurate manner. All functions are carried out to maintain an environment of teamwork. Responsibilities for food attendant - Plans, organizes, prepares and serves food for large groups - Take orders, promote the outlet’s specialties and serve in accordance to the established standards - Operating a point of sale register to include cash transactions and provide excellent customer service - Chopping, grilling, frying, and assembling meals according to menu standards - Preparing and cooking food in the food truck kitchen - Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and service areas - Assist with restocking supplies and ingredients - Handle cash transactions and provide excellent customer service - Be helpful towards guests that need assistance - Clean and prepare tables for inflow of guests - Pay regular attention to guests to ensure that their requests are attended to Qualifications for food attendant - One year previous job experience required in lieu of High school diploma/GED - Short order cook/grill cook experience preferred - High school diploma or GED preferred, or currently completing required studies
