Food Service Worker II - (Full Time) Food & Nutrition 8050

**St. Mary's Medical Center** is seeking a Full Time **Food Service Worker II**. This individual will rotate through various assignments and perform a variety of jobs according to the standards of the Food Service Department. Those in the Clerk’s area, provides clerical assistance to the Clinical staff by performing clerical tasks required for the operation of the department and the efficient, accurate service of patient's meals. Assists in providing for the nutritional care of each patient. **EDUCATION:** High school graduate or equivalent. For clerks additionally must have some office and/or food and nutrition classes. **** **EXPERIENCE:** Three or more years work experience in a food service establishment desirable. For clerk’s previous diet office experience desired. Computer Skills required. **** **** **SKILLS:** Good interpersonal skills desirable. Able to lift heavy objects for transport. Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to do arithmetic calculations and computations. For clerk’s they additionally must have thorough knowledge of ingredients of foods prepared for patients and be able to describe to them each menu item, if necessary. Also, must be able to identify the correct foods for each major diet. Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions.
