InterContinental Wellington is host to outstanding culinary excellence and an array of 5 Food & Beverage outlets to suit every occasion. **Your day to day** The Food & Beverage Duty Manager is responsible for supervising daily outlet operations and ensuring excellent customer service. You will lead and support the team, interact confidently with guests, and handle any issues that arise in a professional manner. Your focus will be on maintaining service standards, training team members, and ensuring a smooth and efficient operation that delivers a great guest experience. Responsibilities include; - Coordinate the day-to-day operations to maximise guest satisfaction, service quality, and profitability. - Respond to guest requests and resolve complaints promptly, professionally, and effectively. - Lead by example through a visible, hands-on presence - Provide guidance and support to team members. - Train, coach, and develop staff to maintain exceptional service standards and operational excellence. **What we need from you** - Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment. - 3+ years’ experience in a restaurant, bar or hotel environment - Flexibility to work a range of hours, which includes but is not limited to evenings, events & public holidays Your career journey will be supported through our lifelong development program, IHG career milestone celebrations, and transfer of entitlements as you move and grow with IHG.
