Floor Technician (Housekeeping Department)

The Floor Technician also supports housekeeping operations as needed and assists Supervisors and Managers in maintaining departmental standards and operational efficiency. **Position Type and Expected Hours of Work** - This is an hourly, part time, non-exempt position. Extended hours may be necessary based on operational needs. **Pay Rate** - $14.50-$15.50/hr **Essential Functions and Duties** - Perform daily floor care, including sweeping, mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing as assigned. - Operate and maintain floor care equipment safely and efficiently. - Follow infection prevention, safety protocols, and organizational policies. - Report equipment maintenance needs, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the Supervisor. - Document completed work according to departmental checklists and quality standards. - Assist other EVS staff as needed to ensure smooth operations. **General Responsibility as Required for Position** - Responsible for acting in conformance with all facility and departmental policies and procedures including those relating to Human Resources, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, Health and Safety regulations, Compliance requirements, Patient Rights, Confidentiality, and HIPAA.
