Floor Crew - FT - SS

## Description **Work Location: 3207 East 4th Street Panama City, FL 32401** **Primary Function:** Employee is responsible for cleaning, stripping, and refinishing hard floors as well as shampooing carpets within but not limited to Goodwill Properties. Employees are also responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment. **Essential Functions:** - Observes proper safety precautions in use of equipment and supplies - Maintain a clean work area and perform duties in an efficient manner - Works with all cleaning chemicals in a safe manner - Work a flexible work schedule including evenings and weekends as necessary - Vacuum and shampoo rugs and carpets - Dust mop, sweep, and wet mop - Strip and refinish hard floors - Touch up baseboards, corners, doorways, and glass with appropriate tools - Meet or exceed the attendance expectations for this position - Actively maintain a safe, healthy, and positive environment that promotes the physical and emotional wellbeing of employees, customers and participants. - Personally participate in ongoing cross training opportunities, education and development as well as supporting others in their efforts to develop. - Interacts with coworkers and government personnel in a friendly and courteous manner - Educate customers and the community about the mission and vision of the organization. - Demonstrate the Goodwill core values through actions and words. - Maintain an acceptable attendance and punctuality record - Other duties as assigned - Supervisor may assign a staff member in a role of Crew Lead responsible for directing the team on the job site **Competencies:** Clear Communication\* World Class Customer Service\* Understanding Diverse Needs\* Protecting the Brand\* Handling Multiple Tasks **Requirements:** Must be able to work effectively in a secure, confidential area Must be able to perform assigned cleaning tasks as per contract standards Must be able to understand and follow training instructions Ability to maintain working relationship with supervisor and co-workers Must be able to work as part of a team in a variety of settings Interacts with coworkers and government personnel in a friendly and courteous manner Must Pass TSA security clearance when applicable Must be screened for verifiable disabilities when applicable Must provide any additional medical records needed when applicable Consent to random drug screenings quarterly **Qualifications:** High school diploma or equivalent preferred Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand, stoop and bend while lifting Must be able to push a mop bucket weighing up to 50 pounds Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects up to 25 pounds **Typical Work Environment:** The typical work environment is always different.
