We specialize in a full range of new and retrofit construction for industrial, food processing, commercial, institutional, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and bio-fuel projects. ## Job Summary Shambaugh & Son L.P. is looking for a Mechanic. In this role you will be responsible for the repairs on all Shambaugh & Son cars, trucks and equipment. They will do this by maintaining a clean and orderly environment while exercising all safety rules at all times. #shambaugh #LI-TS #LI-Onsite ## Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Running diagnostic tests on vehicles. - Analyzing diagnostic test results. - Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems. - Checking vehicle lighting systems. - Test driving vehicles to gauge performance. - Performing preventative maintenance on service trucks. - Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles. - Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist. - Maintaining a parts inventory. - Ensuring the cleanliness of the shop. - Report to garage manager when not knowledgeable of certain problems. - Coordinate and work in harmony with all Shambaugh & Son personnel. - Prompt and accurate completion of work orders in a legible manner. - Check all vehicles and equipment in yard for past due service. - Other duties as assigned ## Qualifications - 2-3 years of experience as an automotive technician. - Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification is a plus. - Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills. - Valid driver’s license is required. - Works well independently and with others. - Good communication skills. - Organized with attention to detail. - Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required. ## Equal Opportunity Employer As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
