**Div. 27 Nashville, TN** **Summary** Responsibilities for Sales Representative is to promote, estimate and sell fire protection sprinkler systems, repairs and upgrades to existing and new clients. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers of Fire Protection contracts by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads and utilizing outlined marketing strategies. - Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of company offerings. - Close sufficient sales to exceed sales plan objectives. - Develop a positive ongoing relationship with existing and new customers, general contractors and end users. - Estimate small projects including fixed price service as required in addition to large projects ranging from $100k-$1MM+. - Manage projects as needed (i.e. change orders, field issues) and attend job walks and construction meetings as needed. - Ability to build new business associations / relationships and grow the Fire Protection Business **Education and/or Experience** Bachelor's degree and 5+ years Fire Sprinkler Estimating/Sales or equivalent combination of education and experience. Familiar with reading blueprints, understanding current NFPA 13, 14, and 20 standards and local codes. **Computer Skills** Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
