Fire Sprinkler Project Manager

## Description **Compensation: $95,000-$115,000/Year** **Position Summary:** We are actively seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Fire Sprinkler Project Manager to lead and manage large-scale fire protection projects from start to finish. This role is key to ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with NFPA standards and client expectations. As a Project Manager in a non-union, fast-paced environment, you'll serve as the main point of contact between field operations, designers, vendors, and clients. You’ll oversee multiple crews, manage budgets, handle schedules, ensure code compliance, and maintain the high standard of quality our company is known for across Oklahoma and surrounding states. **Key Responsibilities:** **Project Planning & Execution** • Manage all aspects of fire sprinkler projects from pre-construction to close-out. • Develop project schedules, manpower forecasts, material submittals, and procurement plans. • Oversee job cost tracking, billing projections, and change orders to ensure financial success. • Coordinate internal resources, subcontractors, and vendors to meet project milestones. **Client & Contractor Interface** • Serve as the primary liaison between the company, general contractors, owners, and AHJs. • Attend jobsite meetings and provide progress updates to clients and internal leadership. • Build and maintain strong working relationships with GCs and other trades to support ongoing and future opportunities. **Field Operations Oversight** • Collaborate with Superintendents and Foremen to ensure field crews are properly staffed and equipped. • Resolve field issues related to design changes, layout discrepancies, or material delays. • Review drawings, specifications, and hydraulic calculations for accuracy and constructability. **Code Compliance & Documentation** • Ensure that all work complies with NFPA standards, local fire codes, and project specifications. • Submit and manage required permits, inspection requests, and turnover documentation. • Coordinate with designers to finalize as-built drawings and close-out packages. **Quality Control & Risk Management** • Maintain high standards of quality and safety throughout the life of each project. • Proactively identify project risks and implement corrective actions as needed. • Track project performance metrics and lessons learned for continual improvement. ## Requirements - **Qualifications:** **Required** • 5+ years of experience in fire sprinkler system project management or related role. • Demonstrated experience managing large commercial or industrial projects ($1M+). • Extensive knowledge of fire protection systems including wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge. • Deep understanding of NFPA 13, 14, 20, 24 and relevant building and fire codes. • Strong skills in scheduling, budgeting, document control, and contract management. • Proficiency in construction software such as Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, or PlanGrid. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites. **Preferred** • NICET Level II or higher in Water-Based Systems Layout. • OSHA 30 Certification. • Experience working in a non-union commercial construction environment. • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. **Physical & Work Environment Requirements:** - Primarily office-based with regular visits to job sites across Oklahoma and surrounding states. - Must be able to walk construction sites, climb stairs/ladders, and inspect work at elevation. - Occasional overnight travel required – lodging and per diem provided. **Compensation & Benefits:** • Competitive salary commensurate with experience. • Company vehicle or monthly vehicle allowance with fuel card. • Company-provided phone and laptop/tablet. • Health, dental, and vision insurance. • 401(k) with company match. • Paid vacation and holidays. • Opportunities for advancement and continuing education.
