Fire Sprinkler Install Helper

**Div 12, Augusta GA** **Summary** Responsible for assisting with the installation of fire sprinkler systems on construction and retrofit projects; this is an entry-level role supporting foremen and fitters by performing basic labor tasks while learning fire sprinkler installation techniques, safety practices, and code requirements. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Assist fire sprinkler installers with system installation activities. - Carry, stage, and organize materials, pipe, fittings, and tools. - Cut, thread, and prep pipe under supervision. - Assist with hanging pipe, installing hangers, and setting sprinkler heads. - Support flushing, pressure testing, and system startup activities. - Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites. - Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies. - Participate in safety meetings and on-the-job training. **Education and/or Experience** High school diploma and 0-2 years’ experience; construction or mechanical experience a plus. **Computer Skills** Basic computer skills, email. **Physical Demands** Frequent standing, walking, crouching/bending, climbing ladders, and working at heights; ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs; ability to work in confined spaces and variable weather conditions; exposure to noise, dust, and construction environments.
