## Description Fire Chaser ### **Key Responsibilities** - Respond quickly to fire, water, and storm damage incidents (often after hours) - Establish contact with property owners, tenants, or decision-makers on-site - Assess damage and communicate urgency of mitigation services - Secure signed work authorizations and initiate restoration projects - Coordinate with operations teams to mobilize crews and equipment - Build relationships with: - Fire departments - Police departments - Insurance adjusters - Property managers - Maintain accurate job documentation and CRM updates - Represent the company professionally in high-stress situations - Follow all local regulations and company policies regarding solicitation * * * ### **Required Qualifications** - Sales experience preferred (restoration, roofing, or home services a plus) - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work nights, weekends, and on-call shifts - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation - Ability to handle high-pressure, emotionally sensitive situations - Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency * * * ### **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience in restoration, mitigation, or insurance claims - Knowledge of Xactimate or similar estimating software - Existing relationships with local first responders or insurance professionals * * * ### **Compensation** - Commission-based or base + commission structure - Bonus opportunities tied to revenue or job volume - Company vehicle or mileage reimbursement (if applicable) * * * ### **Work Environment** - Field-based role with exposure to fire-damaged properties and job sites - Irregular hours, including nights and weekends - Fast-paced, performance-driven environment * * * ### **Key Traits for Success** - Hustle and urgency - Resilience and thick skin - Ethical and compliant sales approach - Strong networking ability - Confidence in closing on-site opportunities
