**Div.174 Duluth, GA** **Summary** Responsible for installation, programming, and testing of fire alarm systems per project design drawings. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Read and interpret fire alarm and electrical drawings and specifications. - Review drawings and verify parts for job are accurate. - Install and program fire alarm control panels and other equipment. - Mount devices, install conduit (if applicable) and wiring to connect system components per design drawings and applicable building codes and standards. - Perform all tasks associated with fire alarm installation, such as drilling holes for cabling and accessing locations such as crawlspaces or attics to ensure optimal wiring layouts. - Identify and repair any troubles and test all devices and components to ensure proper operation. - Perform final acceptance testing with the AHJ. - Produce reports and other documentation to certify the installation of the system. **Education and/or Experience** High School Diploma or GED; 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
