As Folder Gluer Assistant in the Finishing Department, you will be responsible for assisting the Operator in preparing for the product run and ensuring there are no gaps in product running through the machine. ### **What’s in it for YOU?** - **Safety-First, People-First Culture** - Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation and sick time plus observed company holidays - 4-Day Weekends - 401K Employer Contributions - **Short and long-term disability options** - **Life Insurance** - **And more!** ### **What will you do in this role?** - Feed product into the folder gluer machine. - Maintain cleanliness of work area and empty waste bins. - Strip excess material from product (based on job ticket information). - Read job ticket to make sure the job is being processed correctly. - Assemble and store shipping containers. - Gather and pack product, per job specifications. - Make cartons for packing product. ### **What does it take to be successful in this role?** **Basic Requirements** - Possess an ability to work together as a Folder Gluer Team and embrace how your job impacts the whole team. You are the person “behind the scenes” making it happen. - Passionate and positive “can do” attitude. - Can accept feedback and use it to grow in your position. - Must have basic computer skills or the ability to learn basic skills. - Excellent endurance to stand and move about the work area all day. **Preferred Requirements** We value diverse experiences and perspectives—they help us innovate every day. While these qualifications are preferred, they’re **not required**: - Prior experience in a manufacturing environment. ### **The physical requirements and work environment:** #### **Physical Demands** - **Standing/Walking:** Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–12 hours per shift). - **Lifting/Carrying:** Regularly lift, push, pull or move materials up to 50 lbs. - **Repetitive Motions:** Frequent use of hands and arms for machine operation and material handling. - **Visual/Manual Requirements:** Ability to read gauges, measure materials, and perform quality checks. #### #### #### **Environmental Conditions** - **Noise Level:** Exposure to moderate to high noise levels; hearing protection provided. - **Safety Gear:** Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and gloves. - **Other Factors:** Occasional exposure to dust, ink, or chemicals used in production. #### **Schedule & Work Hours** - Full-time position; standard schedule is 6am-6pm, 3 days/week, with occasional overtime as needed. *The above is intended to describe the general content of and the requirements for satisfactory performance in this position.
