Position summary Sikich is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst II. This role is contingent upon award of contract. What will you do in this role? - Provide technical expertise and support for financial-related projects. - Develop solutions, reports, studies, documentation, and presentation materials. - Support client meetings and stakeholder engagements. - Review and analyze financial and budgetary data to identify discrepancies. - Maintain records of activities to track workload and forecast future resource needs. - Apply knowledge of federal financial, acquisition, and accounting policies, standards, and systems. - Develop reports, documentation, and analyses to support operational effectiveness and informed decision-making. - Support accurate transaction processing, financial reporting, and customer service through knowledge of federal financial systems, processes, and controls. What do you need to succeed in this role? - On-site in Washington, DC daily. - Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field. - Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. - Demonstrated understanding of federal financial management processes. - Strong communication and software application skills. - Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Highly desired - Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) - Highly desired - Project Management Professional (PMP) - Highly desired - Experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, Teams) - Familiarity with federal financial systems such as Momentum preferred - Knowledge of federal financial processes, systems, and internal controls preferred In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the midpoint of the salary range for this role is $101,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
