This is a full-time, exempt position working closely with Finance and Program leadership. The role is based in our Lewiston office, supporting collaboration across both on-site and remote teams. **Starting range:** $56,000-$64,000 annually **Essential Duties**: - Analyze financial data and produce accurate, timely reports to support Directors and program leaders in monthly financial reviews - Prepare forecasting and perform financial analysis as needed or requested - Ensure accuracy and compliance with nonprofit accrual accounting standards, grant requirements, and OMB (Office of Management and Budget) regulations - Prepare and review financial reports and billings for state, federal, and other funding sources - Partner with Directors and Finance leadership to support audit preparation - Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to support program decision-making - Collaborate effectively with both remote and on-site teams, providing financial guidance and support - Utilize accounting systems and tools such as MIP and QuickBooks for journal entries and financial reporting - Demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to learn and leverage new technologies, including AI and evolving accounting systems - Other finance related duties as needed **Benefits:** - Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, short and long-term disability, accident, critical illness & hospital indemnity. - Paid Time Off (up to 18 days for full-time employees) - 13 paid holidays per year. - 403(b) pension plan with agency contribution and match. - Community Concepts is a qualified employer under the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program. **Desired Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or related field preferred is preferred; seven to ten years of commensurate experience may be considered as a substitute for college training. - Minimum four years’ experience in accounting or financial work. - Experience with nonprofit accrual accounting strongly preferred - Knowledge of OMB regulations (Uniform Guidance) is a plus - Familiarity with state and government grants and related reporting requirements - Experience with QuickBooks and/or MIP accounting systems is strongly preferred - Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills - Demonstrated ability and interest in learning new systems, technologies, and AI tools to improve financial processes **Other Requirements:** Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across teams and lead and motivate others; Proficiency with Microsoft Office especially Excel is required.
