## Overview The Financial Analyst is responsible for the preparation, validation and analysis of all financials produced by the department. They also respond to inquiries and provide income statement analysis to Directors of Financial Operations and Controllers, which help to guide respective field offices in understanding and managing their profitability and financial performance. They play an active role in the annual budget process. A qualified candidate must demonstrate initiative, flexibility, innovation, urgency, and ability to work in a diverse setting. ### Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Produce monthly reporting which includes company, regional, office and director views - Provide variance explanation between budget, actual, year over year, and trending performance - Conduct monthly income statement analysis and prepare journal entries when needed during the monthly close process. - Assist stakeholders in understanding and utilizing reports produced by the department - Produce ad hoc reports and provide analysis as needed - Investigate ways to improve current reporting processes utilizing functionality of PeopleSoft queries and the Planning application - Participate in the annual budgeting process ### Requirements: - Required Education and/or Experience: - BS in Accounting or Finance - 3-5 years Accounting or Finance related experience - People Soft and nVision experience preferred - Financial analysis experience preferred - Hyperion Planning, Essbase and SmartView and EPM (EDMCS, EPBCS, FCCS) experience plus - Advanced business degree a plus ### Requisite Abilities and/or Skills: - Strong analytical ability with a focus on detail - Ability to manage multiple tasks - Professional oral and written communication skills - Capacity to view the company, and our internal process, at a detailed level - Capable of interacting with all levels of the organization in a professional manner ### Compensation Per Pay Transparency Acts: The range for this position is $61-77k.Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
