**Finance Operations Intern** **Position:** Finance Operations Intern **Department:** Finance / Accounting **Employment Type:** Internship **Role Overview** The Finance Operations Intern will support the finance team in managing daily financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with reporting and analysis. This role provides hands-on experience with financial processes, data analysis, and business operations. **Key Responsibilities** - Assist with bank and account reconciliations - Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities - Help prepare financial reports,spreadsheets and supporting documentation - Perform data analysis to support financial decision-making - Support the monthly close process, including reconciliations and journal entries. - Review financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance - Help document and improve finance operational processes - Collaborate with finance and other departments on financial projects - Support the accounting team with special projects and research tasks **Qualifications** - Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. - Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting concepts - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - High attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly. - Effective communication and teamwork skills. **Preferred Skills** - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications - Experience with financial reporting or data analysis - Familiarity with ERP systems or accounting software - Strong written and verbal communication skills **What You Will Gain** - Hands-on experience with corporate finance operations - Exposure to financial reporting and analysis - Opportunity to learn financial systems and tools - Professional development and mentorship from finance professionals Kidde-Fenwal Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
