Our exclusive building methodologies, accredited safety standards and professional execution allow us to turn our customers’ greatest concepts into reality. **Position and Responsibilities Overview** - Maintain sufficient personal hand tools for assigned tasks. - Ensure quality workmanship on all mechanical system installations. - Schedule daily and weekly trade activities. - Trade related material, tool, and equipment requisitions. - Trade specific workforce quality. - Capable of meeting, or exceeding established production standards. - Some knowledge of pipefitting; be able to identify situations that are sub-standard, or do not meet code. - Pipe welding, using SMAW (stick), GTAW (tig), and GMAW (mig) when possible. - Sealing pipe entirely with an aesthetically pleasing, solid weld. Qualifications Field Welder 1 - Indirect supervision. - Performs technical responsibilities. - Contributes to the development and improvement of concepts, techniques and procedures. - Coordinates own tasks with a specific range of responsibilities under established procedures. - Contributes to a team under general supervision of an experienced professional or manager. - Skilled specialist or recent college/university graduate. - Role specific skills and experience required. - Requires judgment or initiative in resolving issues and making recommendations. - Supervision and guidance of crews.
