Bring it.* **Position Summary** **:** The Field Service Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of mobile power units powered by natural gas. This role performs extensive fieldwork and provides technical support to ensure the efficient and safe operation of power generation equipment. **Essential** **** **Functions:** · Install, commission, and test natural gas-powered mobile power units at various client sites · Conduct routine and preventative maintenance and diagnostics on power generation systems to ensure optimal performance · Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues in the field · Respond to emergency service calls to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to power units · Adhere to company and customer safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements · Maintain accurate service records, including diagnostics, repairs, and parts used. · Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies · Frequent travel to various job sites, at times with short notice **Non-Essential** **** **Functions:** · Other duties as assigned **Knowledge,** **** **Skills,** **** **and** **** **Abilities** **** **(KSA’s)** **** **for Position:** Effective performance in this role requires the following: **Knowledge** · Policies, practices, and procedures of PowerStream Dynamis/MidCentral Energy · Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures and guidelines · Principles of customer service · Safety practices associated with product assembly and disassembly · Technical understanding of mechanics and machinery. · Mechanical and electrical systems. **Skills** · Troubleshooting and diagnostics. · Strong math skills. · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. · Organizational skills and time management. · Advanced computer skills. · Attention to detail and quality. · Leadership skills. **Abilities** · Practice and foster safe work methods, identify workplace hazards, and use appropriate safety equipment. · Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, professional colleagues, and the public. · Handle multiple tasks simultaneously. · Find solutions to problems. · Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and during emergency situations such as inclement weather. · Regular, timely attendance. · Respond to emergency situations. · Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics and technical manuals. · Identify processes and streamline inefficiencies. **Physical Demands** · Required stand for long periods. · Push, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs. · Bend, stoop, kneel, and move intermittently throughout the day. · Exposure to fumes, odors, dust, moving mechanical parts, and vehicles. · Exposure to extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow, ice). · Exposure to potentially dangerous work areas and environments. ## Requirements **Minimum Education Requirements:** High school diploma or equivalent (GED) **Minimum Experience:** Two (2) years of relevant experience **OR** equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the duties of the job **Other:** This position is safety sensitive.
