REIC Rentals is seeking a **Field Service Technician** to support our Data Center customers throughout Northeast Virginia. In this role, you'll be responsible for servicing and maintaining temporary climate control equipment that keeps critical facilities operating safely and efficiently. Our mission is to deliver high-performance equipment, expert service, and innovative climate control solutions that help our customers succeed. **Why Join REIC Rentals?** - Monday–Friday schedule (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) - On-call rotation and overtime opportunities - Territory covering Northeast Virginia - Work in state-of-the-art data center environments - Comprehensive benefits available after 60 days: - Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance - Paid Time Off - 401(k) with Company Match - Ongoing technical training and professional development - Career advancement opportunities with a growing organization - Employee Referral Bonus Program - Safety-first, team-oriented culture **Physical Requirements** - Stand and walk for extended periods - Frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and climb as needed - Lift up to 75 pounds multiple times throughout the workday **What You'll Do** - Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and temporary climate control equipment supporting data center operations - Perform preventive maintenance on air conditioning, heating, ventilation, dehumidification, and power equipment - Diagnose mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and control system issues - Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals - Install, start up, and commission rental equipment at customer sites - Provide exceptional customer service and basic operational training to customers - Accurately document service work, inspections, and repairs using electronic service systems - Travel throughout Northeast Virginia to support customer locations - Follow all company and customer safety procedures, including strict data center safety protocols **What You'll Bring** - 3+ years of field service, commercial HVAC, diesel, heavy equipment, generator, or industrial equipment maintenance experience - Experience servicing mission-critical facilities or data centers is highly preferred - Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, refrigeration, or control systems - Experience with commercial HVAC equipment, generators, power systems, pumps, air compressors, or temporary climate control equipment is preferred - Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals - EPA Universal Certification is a plus but not required - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Must be at least 21 years of age - Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory and work overtime when needed - Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude - Commitment to safety and quality workmanship **#StepIntoSuccess** REIC Rentals is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to creating an inclusive workplace for all employees. **Please note:** REIC Rentals does not accept unsolicited resumes from third-party recruiters or staffing agencies.
