As a **Field Service Technician – Automation & Controls**, you’ll support our automated water transfer systems in the field. This technical, hands-on role involves installing and maintaining sensors, troubleshooting electronics, configuring devices, and ensuring safe and efficient operations at remote customer sites. You'll split time between field work and shop-based equipment repairs, reporting directly to the Manager of Automated Operations. This role is based out of our Triadelphia, WV Automation Shop. ### Responsibilities - Set up and rig down automation equipment on site - Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on sensors, valves, and controls - Use hand tools, diagnostic gear, and software to configure and test systems - Respond to field service calls and troubleshoot real-time issues - Interact with clients and represent the company professionally onsite - Complete daily reporting and safety documentation - Travel regionally, often to remote locations, with occasional overnight stays - Adhere to all SOPs, safety standards, and training requirements ### Requirements - 1+ year of oil & gas or relevant industrial experience - Experience with electrical wiring, electronics, or instrumentation - Familiarity with multimeters, computers, and basic networking - Strong problem-solving and time-management skills - Ability to work independently and with a team in fast-paced environments - Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly - Positive, safety-first mindset with a desire to grow and learn - Field-Based | Full-Time | 12-hour shifts possible | Travel and overnight stays as required - Outdoor work in all weather conditions ### Benefits - Paid Holidays - Medical / Dental / Vision coverage - Health savings account (HSA) - Company Paid Life Insurance and Accidental & Dismemberment Insurance - Voluntary Life Insurance - 401k with a company match - Paid Time Off - Employee Assistance Program - Professional Development Programs - Employee Referral Programs - Voluntary Benefits Offered #INDHP
