Fiberglass - Epoxy/Laminating 2nd Shift

Position Summary: Wausau Tile is seeking a motivated and adaptable individual to join our production team as a Fiberglass Epoxy/Laminator. This position involves applying laminations to a mold following the mold lamination processes used in the production of our custom precast concrete products. Candidates must be mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and willing to cross-train across departments. Key Responsibilities: - Construct or repair fiberglass molds for concrete production. - Cut and apply fiberglass materials, epoxies, and coatings per lamination standards. - Ensure uniformity in lamination to achieve consistent product finish and mold integrity. - Sand and finish laminated surfaces as necessary for mold or part readiness. General Responsibilities: - Maintain a clean and organized workspace. - Support other production or maintenance tasks as needed. - Adhere to all safety protocols, including PPE usage and safe handling of tools and materials. - Engage in cross-training opportunities to support team flexibility and coverage. Qualifications: - Lamination or fiberglass experience is a plus. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and fabrication drawings. - Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and industrial equipment. - Mechanically inclined with a strong attention to detail. - Able to work independently or in a team setting.
