If you enjoy working outdoors, are safety-minded, and want to be part of a team that values integrity, teamwork, and customer satisfaction, we'd love to hear from you. ## Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Safely operate company delivery vehicles to transport building materials to customer locations. - Load, secure, transport, and unload materials in a safe and efficient manner. - Verify delivery orders with customers to ensure complete and accurate deliveries. - Place materials in customer-designated locations, including garages or job site staging areas, when appropriate. - Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch personnel, and job site supervisors. - Complete delivery tickets and required paperwork accurately and promptly. - Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns immediately. - Assist with preventative maintenance and basic care of company vehicles. - Move company vehicles within the yard as needed. - Assist with loading materials for the next day's deliveries. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. - Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations applicable to non-CDL drivers. ## Qualifications - Valid South Carolina driver's license with a clean driving record. - Current DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain one. - Ability to pass a DOT physical. - Forklift certification or willingness to become certified. - Strong communication and customer service skills. - Ability to accurately complete delivery documentation. - Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality. - Previous experience delivering building materials, millwork, doors, windows, or lumber is preferred but not required. ## Physical Requirements - Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull building materials weighing up to 75 pounds; heavier items require team lifting or material-handling equipment. - Ability to bend, stoop, climb, reach, and work in varying weather conditions. - Ability to safely load and unload delivery vehicles throughout the workday. - Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. ## Benefits - Competitive pay - Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance - 401(k) with Company Match - Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays - Company-Paid Life Insurance - Short-Term and Long-Term Disability - Employee Assistance Program
